My journey into herbalism began with a deep curiosity about how the body heals itself when given the right support. I first studied Western herbal traditions before attending the CT Institute for Herbal Studies in 2009, where I earned my certification in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Herbology. Over the years, I’ve also received certifications in Auriculotherapy, Herbal Medicine Making, and Whole Food Plant-Based Nutrition.

In 2017, I opened Sage Rootz with a mission to help people uncover and address the root causes of their health imbalances. My practice combines the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern holistic approaches. Using the Eight Principles of Diagnosis, along with tongue and pulse assessment, I identify patterns of disharmony that reveal what the body is truly asking for.

I offer traditional Chinese herbal formulas personalized for each person’s unique patterns of disharmony to help restore balance. I also craft custom tea blends and tinctures based on TCM principles, often blending both Chinese and Western herbs for a well-rounded, synergistic approach. In addition, I provide nutritional guidance rooted in whole food plant-based principles, and I offer auriculotherapy as both a stand-alone treatment and an optional add-on to herbal consultations to help calm the nervous system and support the body’s natural balance.

I also manufacture a line of holistic, all-natural products and am a licensed manufacturer, ensuring that everything I create meets high standards of quality and integrity.
